Beverley and Keith

Beverley and Keith were another brilliant couple to photograph, admittedly they were apprehensive at first having their photograph taken but used their engagement shoot well which definitely made for great pictures on their wedding day. They’re also a couple that I seemed to click well with, they are parents to a young child similar to myself and just seemed to have all the same interests as myself. I knew we were going to get on well when I walked into their home for their initial meeting to be greeted by the painting of Vigo the Carpathian from Ghostbusters 2 hanging above their fireplace; in addition to that Beverley reeled off the songs that had been requested to the DJ and was practically my iTunes library.

Beverley and Keith had chosen the local Holiday Inn for their ceremony and reception, their wedding was a first for me shooting there but it certainly didn’t disappoint. A wonderful airy ceremony and reception room made the photography side brilliant and we even made use of the beautiful gardens in the late autumn afternoon sunshine for that outstanding golden hour warmth. It was also a joy to be working with Sam and Michelle from the talented Ruby Slippers again and can’t wait to see them again soon!
